Gaelic Games Nursery Workshops
We are pleased to announce the national rollout of the Gaelic Games Nursery Workshop, a new coach education initiative designed to support clubs in delivering high-quality programmes for children aged 4–6 years.
The Nursery Programme is a vital entry point for children and families into Gaelic Games, focusing on fun, participation, and the development of fundamental movement skills.
Minimum Coaching Qualification
The Nursery Workshop will now become the minimum entry qualification required for anyone coaching within a club Nursery setting. Child Safeguarding and vetting requirements remain the same.
This will help ensure that the youngest participants in our clubs experience safe, enjoyable and developmentally appropriate sessions.
Equipment Giveaway – €32,000
To support the development of Nurseries nationwide, we are launching an equipment initiative which will see 32 clubs receive Nursery Equipment Packs worth €1,000 each.
There will be at least one winning club per county.
Each pack includes equipment designed specifically for Nursery sessions, including:
Bibs
Cones
Agility ladders
Hurdles
Boundary poles
Hula hoops
Ball bags
Qualification Criteria for Clubs
To be eligible for the draw, clubs must:
Register to host a Nursery Workshop
🚨 €32,000 Equipment Giveaway for Clubs 🚨 – Fill in form
Have a minimum of 10 parents/coaches attend
Complete the workshop within the agreed timeframe
Deadline for entry Friday March 27th, 2026 @5pm
All clubs meeting the above criteria will be entered into the draw.
