**ASKING ALL ATTENDING TOMORROW TO TAKE A MINUTE TO READ PLEASE 🙏
Donegal GAA are set to welcome a capacity crowd this Sunday, 22nd June, as Donegal host Louth in a highly anticipated All-Ireland SFC preliminary quarter-final at MacCumhaill Park. Throw-in is scheduled for 4:00pm
Below are detailed matchday guidelines to ensure a safe and smooth experience for all supporters attending the game.
Designated Seating and designated terraces:
This fixture will operate with designated seating and dedignated terraces. Supporters are reminded to ensure that when purchasing family or group tickets, all seats are selected within the same section. Stewards will be on hand to guide attendees to the correct areas.
Entry Points Based on Ticket Section:
Supporters are asked to pay close attention to their ticket details:
• River End ticket holders must access the stadium via the river bank walkway only.
• Town End ticket holders can enter through the Main Gate turnstiles or the Villa Rose turnstiles, which can be reached via Brogans Arch or Jackson’s Hotel.
• The Press Box Terrace is accessible exclusively through the Main Entrance turnstiles.
We urge all travelling supporters to inspect their tickets in advance and follow signage and steward instructions to avoid delays and congestion at the stadium.
Early Gate Opening to Ease Congestion:
Due to the ongoing Donegal International Rally, and the expected heavy volume of traffic in the Twin Towns, gates will open at the earlier time of 1:45pm. Spectators are advised to allow extra time for travel and entry.
Parking and Travel
Several public car parks will be available in and around Ballybofey and Stranorlar. Supporters are encouraged to utilise these facilities and avoid parking on main roads or blocking access routes. Donegal GAA are asking all attendees to be mindful of local residents and businesses.
A matchday stadium access map has been issued to assist with navigation and entry.
Supporters are encouraged to arrive early, follow directions, and enjoy what is set to be a thrilling day of football in Ballybofey!!
