Despite losing their unbeaten record to Sligo yesterday, the Donegal u-17 development squad have qualified for the Jim McGuigan Cup final.
Goals in the early and last minutes proved vital for the Connacht side. Donegal gradually recovered from the early concession and were two points behind at the break 0-6 to 1-5 and leading by 0-11 to 1-6 at the end of normal time when a late, late goal for the visitors seen the result go Sligo’s way.
