Caolan McColgan – player of the week – was the only Donegal player to make the GAA’s Allianz League team of the week. A little dis-appointing perhaps for the County given the high quality performance from so many of Donegal’s younger players in particular. On the positive side, however, it also highlights how important the overall team effort was to the win over Kerry.
