Donegal’s senior manager Paddy Carr has confirmed that injuries remain a problem for the squad with Ciaran Thompson, Paul Brennan, Michael Langan and Oisin Gallen all ruled out of this weekend’s Allianz League Division 1 Round 1 game against Kerry in Ballybofey. He also confirmed that Shane O’Donnell, Peadar Mogan and Ethan O’Donnel were not currently part of the panel.
The game throws-in as Páirc Sheáin MhicCumhaill in Ballybofey at 2 pm in Sunday and Mayo’s John Devenney will referee. Tickets for the game must be purchased in advance and no cash will be taken at the gates. The link to the GAA’s ticket master site for the game is below.

In an open letter to all Gaels, to appear in most match programmes, GAA President Larry MacCarthy this week stressed the importance of “Respect”. He wrote:
“Another quality that will ensure that our games retain this pre-eminent position will be Respect. Respect for ourselves, respect for the opposition and respect for match officials is crucial for the integrity and reputation of our games and our organisation. How we conduct ourselves says a lot about us. It is my wish that the respect agenda is driven by us, collectively. Respect should be a cornerstone of the culture of CLG. But culture is learned behaviour, and demonstrating respect as a culture must be learned, reinforced and constantly demonstrated, so that it is unequivocally our normal and acceptable behaviour”.
