New GAA Playing Rules

The GAA released a range of new playing rules for the coming season earlier this week. In summary, they relate to:

• Denying a goalscoring opportunity – applies to 2021 Senior Inter-County League and Championship;
• Advantage rule – applies at all levels;
• Temporary Substitution: Head Injuries – applies at all levels;
• Misconduct at Games by Team Officials- applies to 2021 Senior Inter-County League and Championship;
• Interfering with a kick-out or with puck-out – applies at all levels;
• Aggressive Infractions – applies at all levels; and,
• Number of Players – applies at all levels.
