Following last night’s Feb 8th County Committee meeting Ed Byrne (Na Cealla Beaga) was re-elected as Assistant Secretary and Catriona Sweeney (An Beart) was elected as Irish and Cultural Officer.
Charlie Kerr (An Tearmainn) and Daireen McMenamin (Sean MacCumhaill) were selected as Development Officer and Children’s Officer, respectively. Congratulations to the new officers and they are all welcome to the County management team. Clubs are asked to help the new officers get a database of contacts by emailing the details of the relevant officer’s in your clubs to the new appointees.
Comhghairdeas also to Michelle Bennett (Ard an Ratha) who was returned as Referee Administrator for the 2021 season and to the three new club representatives on the CCC were selected at last night’s meeting:
- The Senior Club rep is Sean McGinley(Cill Chartha)
- The Intermediate Club rep is Andy Doherty(Aodh Rua, Cúl na gCurridín)
- The Junior Club rep is Packie McDyre (Na Rossa)
Also new to the County Board for 2021 is Brendan Kelly (Naomh Mhuire, Conmhaigh), formerly Junior Club rep, who was elected as one of Donegal’s two delegates to Ulster Council at Convention last December.
