Three games were played this evening in the @mmurphysports championship. Setanta won well against Sean MacCumhaills in the Senior Hurling Championship, making it three wins out of three and moving them to the top of the table, ahead of Buncrana on score difference. At Hibernian Park the Burt v St Eunans match was called off very early after a serious injury to the Burt goal-keeper. We wish him a speedy recovery.
In the Senior Football Championship, Naomh Conaill had too far much for a young Termon side running out comfortable winners in a game which was effectively over shortly after the first water-break. That’s maximum points for Naomh Conaill with three wins out of three and with an enormous score difference they are now virtually guaranteed a quarterfinal slot and more than likely a home tie. In the Intermediate championship, Naomh Muire Iochtar na Rosann also maintain a 100% record with an important home win against Naomh Colmcille.
