It’s Round 2 of the Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure Championship this weekend and the stakes are raised for most clubs following last week’s results. Currently, five games are streaming live on Facebook – Gaoth Dobhair v Na Cealla Beaga, Naomh Bríd v Aodh Ruadh,Malin v Naomh Colmcille,  Ardara v Naomh Conaill and An Tearmainn v Realt na Mara. The clash of the titans in O’Donnell Park between Naomh Ádhamhnáin and Cill Cheartha is live on TG4.

As was the case last week Covid-19 regulations are restricting spectator and CLG Dhún na nGall are breaking with precedent to highlight broadcast media’s coverage of our games:

Most clubs will also be tweeting live on the progress of their games and @OfficialDonegal will be re-tweeting half-time and full-time results where possible. Highland Radio, Ocean FM and Radio na Gaeltachta will also provide score and social media updates on their Sports programmes from all Games on Saturday and Sunday as well as post-game match reactions. Other media outlets around the County will also be supplying score updates on social media from all games as well as timely post-match reports and reactions from players and management at a selection of games.

On Sunday evening, at approximately 8.00 pm, CLG Dhún na nGall will be doing the draw for Round 3 of the Senior Championship. This will be streamed live on Donegal Facebook page. Once again,  I would like to thank all our friends in the media for the excellent coverage they give our games. Go raibh maith agaibh go léir.
