The CLG Dhún na nGall banquet, in conjunction with the Ladies Board, on Saturday evening in the Abbey Hotel will honour two of the retirees from Donegal’s All-Ireland winning squad from 2012 – David Walsh and Frank McGlynn. Below are extracts from the Banquet booklet on the two legends. Coincidently both could have have been lost to the English Premier League with David’s blossoming career at Luton town cut short by injury and Frank shunning the limelight with Wayne Rooney to the rewards of GAA.
