Four Local Hotels Helping CLG Dhún na nGall sell House Draw tickets

The online site for the Club Donegal House Draw is now live at www.winyourhouseindublin.com. The top prize is a four bedroom house, semi-detached, in Dublin in association with Alanna Homes. The house is newly built to the latest energy efficiency standards and is valued at €400,000. There are also four other prizes including a brand new Mazda 2, a week’s holiday, €1,000 cash and a night’s B&B in Carton House with a round of golf for 2.

All proceeds from the draw go towards paying the debt on the almost completed Phase 2 of the Centre of Excellence in Convoy and financing the planned Phase 3. The ongoing development of the Centre is a key plank in the future success of GAA games in Donegal – football and hurling, youth and adult, ladies and men. The Donegal Facebook page has a video of county manager Declan Bonner and captain Michael Murphy discussing the centrality of the facilities at Convoy to both the continued success of our county representatives and the nurturing of future stars.

Tickets for the draw can be bought online using devices from mobiles to desktop computers. Tickets will also be available from a series of venues throughout the County. They are currently available at: the Abbey Hotel, Donegal; the Allingham Arms, Bundoran; the Mount Errigal, Letterkenny; and the Villa Rose, Ballybofey. The hardworking Club Donegal committee are currently seeking three more venues so that all of the county is covered.

Our Clubs, the bedrock of GAA in Donegal, have their own fund-raising initiatives and are not being asked to sell tickets. However, there will be a series of events throughout the county – these will be promoted in advance – where club-members will be able to buy printed tickets. A dedicated mobile phone number, where queries can be answered and purchases can be made, will be available within the next week. In the meantime, each of the four hotels can field queries at the following telephone numbers – Abbey 074-9721014, Allingham Arms 071-9841075, Mount Errigal 074-9122700 and Villa Rose 074-9132266. Tickets will also be on sale this Sunday in Ballybofey from one of the two kiosks outside MacCumhaill Park – one at the stand entrance and one at the main gate.

Currently you can follow Club Donegal on Facebook at “Win Your House in Dublin”, on Twitter @WinHouseDublin. An Instagram account is on the way. The draw was launched last Sunday and for the first 10 days there is a special Early Bird Offer. Anyone purchasing before October 31st will be entered in a draw with a chance to win ten free tickets.
