Below is the contents of a flyer released by CLG Dhún na nGall on the up and coming Youth Conference in LYIT. It was a great success last year and looks like being another bumper event with applications coming in fast over the last 24 hours

CLG Dhun na nGall “YOUTH MATTERS” Conference
Saturday 12th October 2019 9.30-2 00 pm
Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT)
Donegal GAA Health & Wellbeing Committee hosts their annual youth conference on Sat 12th October 2019. Special Guests on the day will include Jason Quigley, Irish professional boxer and GAA player, who held the NABF middleweight title from March 2017 to July 2019. Ms Niamh Mc Laughlin Donegal Ladies Senior and underage player, represented Ireland at underage soccer, played for Sunderland and currently plays with Shelbourne. Attending on the day will be members from Donegal Senior Ladies and Men’s football panel, hurling panel, Under 21 and Minor panels.
Youth Workshops on the day will include.
- Balancing Sport & Study
- Mental Health Wellbeing
- Injury Prevention
- Alcohol and Other drugs.
- Nutrition & Diet
- Road Safety Shuttle and Roll Rig will be in attendance
Adult Workshops will include
- Samaritans and the GAA (Samaritans).
- Responding to a critical Incident in your club or community (GAA Tutor).
- One good Coach (Jigsaw).
Refreshments and Lunch will be provided with additional surprises on the day for those attending.
