Gaoth Dobhair cruised through Group C of the Division 1 minor championship scoring 9 goals and 42 points across three games while only conceding 1-5, Ard an Ratha, Naomh Pádraig Uisce Chaoin and Naomh Columba being the unfortunate opposition. Naomh Conaill proved their sternest test in the quarter-final but the Gaoth Dobhair boys prevailed on a 1-12 to 1-5 scoreline before powering past Na Ceall Beaga in the semifinal.

If any team can halt the Gaoth Dobhair boys it is An Tearmáinn, also unbeaten, they also met Naomh Conaill (in Glenties) in the Group stages and came away with a similar winning margin. It should be a close and exciting tie in Convoy on Wednesday evening between two minor sides whose results to date show they are undoubtedly the best in the county at the moment.
