It was one way traffic in Páirc an Tamhnaigh where Kilcar overwhelmed Malin. The Division 3 side retained their pride, however, hitting seven scores and Kilcar have recorded more emphatic wins in their unbeaten run through Division 1 this year. It was an altogether different affair at the Burn Road. Termon knew victory over Realt na Mara gave them a great shot of qualification from Group D and put in a storming display of committed football but lost by the minimum as the visitors hit a late winner after Enda McCormick equalized with an added time 45. There was never more than two points between the sides. Termon led 0-7 to 0-6 at the break, but Realt scored three in succession in the opening exchanges of the second half and stayed ahead until the added time drama seen them secure victory at the death.

Termon travel to Connolly Park next Sunday for a tricky assignment, hoping to keep slim chances of qualification alive while Malin will be looking for a victory that could set them up for a winner-takes-all encounter with Realt na Mara in Round 3. The Bundoran side host Kilcar next Sunday.
