The GAA Social Media Policy & Guidelines were updated at the beginning of 2019 and circulated to clubs in January. A poster, that can be placed on club noticeboards was also circulated in February. This documentation contains some significant additions and changes from 2018; many due to the introduction of GDPR and how it impacts our use of digital and social channels.
As we come into a very busy time of year, we would like to remind all Donegal Gaels, particularly managers and officials, of thes updated documents. It is crucial that anyone who has access to a social media channel representing a GAA Unit, or who communicates with members via digital channels or messaging apps is familiar with this document and abides by its direction.
