It just was not to be for Gaoth Dobhair this afternoon. Corofin hit the net twice in the first half. Both of these set-backs met a strong Gaoth Dobhair response as they twice fought back from five point deficits to get within touching distance but it was to be the Galwaymen’s day as they ran out 2-13 to 1-12 winners. It was an honourable defeat to the reigning All-Ireland club champions who are now well-placed to win back-to-back titles. Gaoth Dobhair have had great journey and all in CLG Dhún na nGall are proud to have them as our champions.
