The sole member of the First Donegal Minor football team Leo McGinley passes away aged 100

The sole survivor of the first Donegal minor team Leo McGinley (RIP) of Kilcar passed away earlier today (Sunday
10/12/2017) Leo had turned 100 in July of this year and was a frequent visitor to his native Kilcar, Leo later moved to County Limerick. ( Leo was a 16 year old corner forward for the County in 1934 & 1935 )

Leo is pictured above with his nephew Sean McGinley of Kilcar, and Eoin “Bomber” Liston.
