Admin Login County Minor Championship Round Up

Tonight around the county 13 minor championship ties were up for decision.

In division 1 newly crowned County League champions Naomh Columba lost out to St Michaels by 4 points 3-4 to 9 points. St Nauls were convincing winners against Naomh Padraig muff in Mountcharles by a score line 3-16 to 1-7. Buncrana with home advantage had a point to spare in a tight game in the scarvey verses Killybegs 2-10 to 2-9. Naomh Conaill travelled to Dungloe and secured 2 valuable points winning by 7 point margin 6-9 to 4-8. Malin made the long trip to Ardara but found their hosts in good form as they lost out 1-15 to 2-3. Beaten league finallists Sean Mac Cumhaills bounced back to winning ways with an impressive win at home against Letterkenny Gaels 2-19 to 9 points. Kilcar travelled to Ballyshannon and secured the points in what was a very confident performance 4-7 to 1-8.

In division 2 goals proved the difference again as Cloughaneely defeated Fanad Gaels 3-11 to 11 points. Downings travelled to Burt and came away with a very good victory 1-11 to 1-3. Glenfin were the hosts and lost out by a single point to Red Hughs 1-12 to 1-11. Home team Milford proved to strong on the night for Glenswilly winning by a score line 3-13 to 1-6. Naomh Colm Cille were impressive winners away to Moville 5-8 to 1-10.

One game took place tonight in the Division 3 championship as Naomh Brid/Pettigo were impressive in securing the points away against Naomh Padraig Lifford 4-10 to 1-6.
