*** Gaeil Fhánada Euro 2016 Prediction Competition ***

Gaeil Fhánada are delighted to announce this fantastic fundraiser being run by our club members. This competition will put your football knowledge to the test as well as an opportunity to win some very worthwhile prizes. You don’t need to be a football genius to enter so this competition will suit everyone. The format of the competition is simple, you receive points for every correct prediction you have. Sounds easy! It’s only €10 to enter and we are estimating a top prize of €350! There may be additional prizes added based on participation levels. Please check our facebook page for further instructions. Annual School Sports Day

Our annual Schools Sports Day will be as usual on the second Tuesday of June 14th this year again.  As always we would be grateful for any volunteers on the day – anyone who would like to help in anyway please contact Bridie Doherty or Margaretta McConigley before this Saturday 04th June, either by text or facebook message, thanks.

Lotto Results

Nos drawn were 02, 03, 04, 06, 07. B 08.  No jackpot winner. €100 winner Ben and Angela, Rosnakill  €50 winner Sami Gallagher, Morass.  Next week’s jackpot is €550.  Bridie and Mark on duty.  Come on support our club!

Seniors and Reserves

Our boys play away to Burt in Round 10 of Division 3 League in Hibernian Park, this weekend, day and time to be confirmed. Referees John Paul Houghton (Reserves) and Aidan McAleer (Seniors).  More information on Gaeil’s Facebook page. Best of luck boys!

Senior & Minors Ladies Training this Sunday morning at 10.30a.m. Our next game is on the 26th June against Glenswilly. Hope to see all you ladies at training.

U12 Girls

Our U12 girls continue their winning ways beating Termon comprehensively.  Another great team performance by a talented bunch of girls last Friday evening.  Well done to all team and management, keep up the great work girls!  Our girls play Downings next Tuesday 7th at 6pm (away). Ádh mór cailíní!

U8s game in Downings this Friday evening at 6p.m sharp. Could all children that receive a text from Martin be down at the Downings pitch at 5.40p.m. This will last 1 hour and 15 mins approx.

U10s played Termon at home last Thursday on a lovely evening for football on Trialough.  The travelled away to Cloughaneely on Monday evening 30th.  Both teams played really well. These boys are playing plenty games and they are improving with every game. Thanks to all the parents for all their support and encouragement to both teams. They play Downings away this Friday evening at 7p.m. Could all the boys be at the Downings pitch 6.45pm sharp.

U14 training continues on a Wednesday evening at 6p.m.  All welcome, old and new.

U14 championship game away to Glenfin this Friday June 3rd, throw in at 7.30p.m. Bus leaving Fanavolty at 5.30p.m sharp and Kerrykeel @5.45p.m sharp.

Dún na nGall v Fearmanach

Gaeil Fhánada members can apply for tickets for the Donegal v Fermanagh game by text to 085-1555645 by Thursday June 2nd at 1 p.m. No further ticket orders will be accepted. Seated tickets can not be guaranteed. Please state the type of ticket while ordering.  All ordered tickets must be paid for on collection.  Only members paid up by March 31st need apply.  Terrace tickets for non members will be available in usual outlets. Children under 16 free to terrace but must be in the ticket allocation.

Gaeil Fhánada Cúl Camp will take place this year from July 25th to 29th.

Could we encourage everyone to book on time so that the correct amount of gear can be ordered.  All children of primary school age are welcome to take part.  Application forms have now arrived and will be given out through schools in the next week or so.  Also available from Fiona Shiels.
