Cloughaneely’s 1st league game of the season has been changed to this Saturday, March 19th. They travel to face Milford, with seniors fielding first at 3:00 and reserves 4:30! We wish both teams the best of luck as they start out in the competitive Div 2 league campaign!
***Intermediate Club Championship Draw***
The 2016 Championship draw was made on Saturday last. Cloughaneely were drawn in group B alongside N.Colmcille, N.Últan and Aodh Ruadh; with their only home game being against Aodh Ruadh in round 1.
***U-21A Championship***
In the U-21 A Championship Cloughaneely will face Aodh Ruadh in the 1st round.
***Minors***
Our Minors have had a great start to the season! Their first league game took place on Sunday March 6th where they defeated Termon 5-08 | 3-10 ! They played their 2nd game on Sunday past in what was a thrilling encounter in an away game against Milford; the lads managed to win with a hard fought 3 point margin with a Final Score of 4-10|1-16. Top scorer on the day was Míchael McHugh who notched up a personal tally of 2-03, with the other goals coming from Aaron Carton and Ciaran McFadden. Maith Sibh!
