Glenswilly GAA notes for July 7th

Cul Camp

The Cul Camp is in full swing at the club this week with more than 100 players taking part. The players have come from as far away as America for this year’s camp with a big welcome extended to John McDaid from Crievesmith in Letterkenny and his sons/nephews who are taking part. A big day is expected on Friday when all the players will be given their gear for taking part. A big thank you to anyone who has helped in any way to making this year’s camp a huge success once again.

Under 8 and 10s

This Thursday, July 9th the U10s will travel to Glenfin to take part in a blitz. The bus will leave the clubhouse at 6.15pm (players asked to be there at 6pm) and will return around 9pm. Please bring €1 for the bus.
On Saturday next, July 11th the U10s and U8s will host a blitz at the club against Steelstown from Derry and Malin.. The first throw-in is at 11am and players are asked to be at the club for 10.15am. It would be appreciated if parents could bring refreshments.

Under 12 boys

Quick reminder that training will be held this Friday between 6pm and 7.30pm. All players should try to make it as it’s the last training session before our semi-final championship game away to Castlefin next Monday evening. Please bring €2 and gum shields MUST be worn.

U16 Boys

With less than two weeks to the championship, all players are asked to turn up for training on Wednesdays on the training pitch. If anyone cannot make it, they should contact Bryan Faul to let him know.

Ulster final tickets

The deadline for ticket requests for the Ulster final is/was 9pm on Wednesday, July 8th. A further announcement will be made on the club’s Facebook page in relation to ticket collection.

With more than €2,000 in prize money each Wednesday, the bingo continues to be a great success. The bingo takes place in the hall each Wednesday starting at 9pm.

Anybody with any notes should email them to by Monday night. Thank you.
