St. Michael’s Notes

Senior Championship

Good luck to both teams is the County Championship against Cloughaneely at the Bridge on this Sunday 24th May, with the throw ins at 1.30pm and 3pm. This is our only home championship match of this year and so all support would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations

Congratulations to St. Michael’s player Martin McElhinney who put in a Man of the Match performance for Donegal in the Ulster Championship Match against Tyrone on Sunday last in Ballybofey. Well done also to Colm McFadden and Christy Toye who also put in good performances on the day, Daniel McLaughlin was a late sub for Donegal.

Well done also to Michael Langan who was part of the Donegal Minor team that also defeated Tyrone.

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto €6750 This week

There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 2,5,8,10,16,18. There were 3 Match 5 winners, Tommy Sterritt Dunfanaghy, Willie Doherty Umlagh Carrigart and Maggie Murray 1 Birch Hill Creeslough who won €35 each.

This week’s Jackpot will be €6750; Tickets are on sale in local businesses in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough and at the Bingo Session in Massinass Community Centre Creeslough on Sunday evenings, tickets for the St. Michaels Mini Lotto can now also be purchased on line anywhere at at onlinelotto on facebook .

Drive Home in Style From The Bingo in Creeslough

You could win a car on every game every Sunday night at the Bingo Session in the Massinass Community Centre Creeslough by winning a house on 45 nos or less. A number from 1 to 90 will be drawn out of a draw just prior to the Bingo commencing and if that number comes out in the first five numbers of any game on the night the Car or €10,000 is in play and if that house is claimed on 45 nos or less then the car is won. Last weeks number was 79 and it come out as the third number on the 3rd game and so the car was in play there. The Normal Snowball also in play every night. In addition every House winner will receive a free entry to the weekly lotto, this weeks Jackpot is €6750. There is also a Monthly Draw with the 1st prize of a Television. Tickets €2 each or 3 for €5, free ticket with every Bingo Book purchased or 2 with a double book. Free draw every night at the Bingo for some great spot prizes, 1 entry with single book, 2 with double book. The single book is €8 and double €12, both books include snowball page. Bingo continues every Sunday evening at 8pm in the Massinass Community Centre. The €150 on the snowball game at the Bingo session on Sunday night last was won by Margaret Ferry Clonbara Falcarragh. The winner of the Door Prize of was Brid McLaughlin Derryherriff who chose a free bingo book. This week’s Snowball will be €700.

St. Michaels Minor Board

Under 8’s

The under 8’s had their first blitz of 2015 last Saturday in Termon and played both Termon and St. Eunans teams. The children enjoyed their first outing with great individual and team perfomances. A big thank you to all the parents who travelled to support the team.

All are looking forward to the next blitz next weekend!

Training continues on Tuesday’s from 6pm to 7pm at The Bridge with the bus leaving Creeslough at 5.45pm sharp. €3 for the bus, Gumshields essential.

Under 10’s

Training continues on Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm at The Bridge with the bus leaving Creeslough at 5.45pm sharp. €3 for the bus Gumshields must be worn.

The under 10’s are away for a blitz to Red Hughs on this Saturday May 23rd.

Under 12’s

The Under 12’s played well at home against Termon last Monday evening and are getting stronger as we play more games. The teams were away to Gweedore on Wednesday evening.

As we will have games every Wednesday, training will now run on a Friday evening only from 6pm-7.30pm. Full attendance needed.

Under 13’s

The team will play six games with seven teams in the group.

Under 14’s

Training continues on Thursday evenings and our first match was away to Cloughaneely on Monday evening last.
