Both our under 12 teams commenced their league last Wednesday with a visit to Dungloe. The first game was a close encounter with our boys just edging out the hosts in the end. Next up was our development team who put in a tremendous effort in an entertaining game which was end to end with both teams exhibiting some terrific skill with the hosts coming out victorious by the narrowest of margins at the final whistle.
Well done to all the players for their efforts. Next up is a home game with near neighbours Ardara this Wednesday in Fintra, throw in 6:30pm.

Our Under 16 boys played Naomh Conaill on Mon eve (18th) in the League Regional Final in Mountcharles in a very challenging game. We were in control in the first half going in 2.2 to 0.2 at the half but unfortunately for us a strong 14 man Naomh Conaill prevailed and made a come back in the second half. The game finished with a score line of Killybegs 2.3 to Naomh Conaill 1.9

WEDNESDAY: U12 boys home to Ardara 6.30pm

Reserves away to Termon at 6.00pm

Seniors away to Termon at 7.30pm

Killybegs GAA will hold a Kelloggs Cul Camp this year from the 6th-10th July!

Unfortunately our members who applied to be in the County Board’s draw for Gaeltach Scolarships this year were unsuccessful.

If anyone has information they would like to include in the notes or if there are any fixture changes please let Aisling know by Monday evening each week.
