After last week’s five point defeat to St Michael’s on Easter Monday, the seniors played Dungloe on Saturday evening instead of Kilcar in a Star game (a game without county panelists) as Donegal made it to the League semi final. The Seniors lost out on a scoreline of Malin 0-08 Dungloe 1-17. Malin team and scorers: Daniel Mullarkey, Michael McLaughlin, Damien Harkin, Gary Farren, Gary Collins, Paul McLaughlin (0-01), Charles Byrne, Declan Walsh, John Gerard McLaughlin, Kieron McLaughlin, Conor Farren, Stephen McLaughlin (0-01),Christopher McLaughlin, Dan McDaid (0-05), Seamus Doherty. Subs used: Niall McLaughlin for Declan Walsh (15 mins), Matthew Byrne (0-01)for Christopher McLaughlin (40 mins), Stephen Doherty for Conor Farren (46 mins) and Christopher Doherty for John Gerard McLaughlin (50 mins).

Malin reserves were left sick after they managed to lose the lead right at the death after they had been in front for much of the game. The team will take heart from a close performance as the scoreline read Malin reserves 1-10 Dungloe 2-08

The club held a very successful Easter camp last Wednesday to Friday with almost 100 children involved. The weather was very kind and great enjoyment was had by all participants with many new games tried and no shortage of skills on show. A big thank you to all who took part including coaches and organisers.

The ladies played at home on Sunday and lost out to Killybegs with a good team performance. Next up for the ladies is a home match against Termon next Sunday.

The under 12 played against Carndonagh last Tuesday with the A team winning well and the B’s narrowly losing out. This week the team heads to Moville at 6.30 on Tuesday. The under 16’s match against Muff was put off on Friday to allow the minor team to play Letterkenny Gaels, who unfortunately failed to field. Malin minors now play Gaoth Dobhair most likely to be on Wednesday night in a nuetral venue. The under 14’s have another friendly match against Burt on Tuesday.
