The Club Committee has delegated responsibility of the Minor Board to Coaching Officer Paul Melaugh for the year ahead. The Club has pulled off a major coup in securing the services of Paul in this role as he has significant experience in this area, having previously coached at Letterkenny Gales, a Club with an excellent track record of success in underage football, as well as having served as secretary to the Donegal Minor Board.

Stars In Their Eyes

The Clubs first fundraiser of the year has been pencilled in for Saturday the 21st of March in Bannigans Bar, Main St., Lifford. In a change from previous years, the Club has opted to hold a ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ singing competition. While we can promises nothing as regards the quality of the singing on the night, we can guarantee a great nights fun and some brilliant entertainment. Tickets for the event are priced at €5 each and will be available from Club Members soon. Music on the night will be provided by Paul ‘Big P’ Simpson. Singers for the big night, as well as their alter egos, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Sympathies

The Club would to like to extend its sympathies to the McFeely family of Foreglen, Co. Derry, and the O’Neill and Mahon families of Lifford and Strabane on their recent bereavements – ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
