St. Michael’s Notes


Congratulations to Sarah Ferry Sligo who was the winner of the Luxury Christmas Hamper in the St. Michael’s GAA Club Christmas Draw. The draw took place at the Bingo Session in Dunfanaghy on Sunday 21st December last. The club would like to thank all the businesses who allowed lines to be sold on their premises and everyone who supported the draw to make it so successful.


The €150 on the Snowball game at the Bingo session in Dunfanaghy on Sunday night last was shared by Brid McElhinney Falcarragh and Maggie Curran Ards Creeslough who won €75 each. This weeks Jackpot will be €1960.


There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night Sunday last; The Numbers drawn were 1,4,9,11,16,18; there were no match 5 winners. 38 people matched 4 and their names were drawn and the winner was Vincent Greer Hornhead Road who won €100. This weeks jackpot will be €7350.

Dinner Dance

St Michaels Dinner Dance will take place in Arnolds Hotel on Saturday 3rd January. Music by MIND THAT. Tickets €20 are available from Nicola Ferry 0863084164 or Liam Mc Elhinney 0868611097.

Lotto Rota

The St. Michael’s Lotto Rota for the next two weeks is as follows: 27th December Dunfanaghy Nicola Ferry and Liam Ferry, Creeslough Caolan McGee and Andrew Kelly; 3rd January Dunfanaghy Tommy McGinley and Neil McGinley, Creeslough Michael Cannon and Locan McDaid. Anyone who is unable to carry out this very important job for the club is asked to get a replacement on the night.


AGM will take place on Sunday 11th January at 6pm in the Day centre Creeslough. Nominations form and motions papers have been distributed this week via email & post to all members. Anyone who has not received correspondence by Friday please contact Nicola.

Christmas Wishes

The club wishes all their supporters, players and members a very happy Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thanks also to everyone who has all who have supported club activities and fundraising over the year. Your continued support is very much appreciated.
