NAOMH NAILLE LADIES:  The Senior Ladies team travelled to Glen last Sunday week and came away with a great win on a scoreline of 4-14 to 4-7.  In the first half the girls led by 3-3 to 2-3 with Donna Kelly and Denise Breslin bagging two goals and Eilish Ward scoring a well-taken penalty and three points.  In the second half there was some great scores hit from County captain and player  Ward hitting 0-6 with some great points from Emer Shovelin 0-2 Donna Kelly 0-1, Caoimhe Maguire 0-1 and young Denise Breslin bagging 1-1.  This game also seen the welcome return to the team of Ally McGready who had been away on her travels for the last two years. Great to see her back in a Nauls jersey.
The girls travelled to play Kilcar on Friday evening and came away with another impressive victory on a scoreline of 3-15 to 0-5.  Leah Burke had 0-3 scored by half time and Denise Breslin continued her good goal scoring form with another well-executed goal and impressive midfielder Emer Shovelin with a point to leave the half time score 1-4 to 4 in favour of our girls.
In the next half Emer Shovelin and Co really ran riot with the former county minor hitting 1-5 and another three pointer by Denise Breslin and points from Amy Shovelin who put in a big shift in midfield and Caoimhe Maguire finishing the scoring for the Nauls. There was great performances in those two games by the minor and under sixteen girls whom only for them the girls would not be able to field.  Well done Patsy and Patrick who are keeping the girls on the playing field and their performances are showing that the girls are enjoying it.
ST. NAUL’S RUNNERS —  runners are still going strong.   If you feel like walking, jogging or running come along – Monday at 9pm in Frosses and Wednesdays 9pm in Mountcharles.
