By Sinéad Breen Donegal PRO Tue 6th May

Our Seniors had a busy schedule last weekend, things got underway with a league fixture away to St. Michaels on Friday evening. It was very much a game of two halves with the game ending in a draw. The boys were out again in the Gaeltacht senior semi final against Naomh Conaill on Sunday in Mullaghderg. A graet victory for the boys set up a meeting with Kilcar in the final, A hard fought encounter on Monday afternoon but Kilcar came out on top with a couple of late scores. Next up in the league is a home fixture on Sunday May 11th  against Termon. Both the Seniors and Reserves will feature with throw in times to be confirmed.  The Thirds continued their excellent league form with victory away to Mac Cumhaills last Saturday evening, Thats three wins in a row and the boys have a well earned rest this coming weekend. The under14s defeated Cloughaneely in the league semi final last Tuesday evening and now face Downings in the final on Wednesday 7th May in Milford with a throw in at 7pm. This is a fantastic achievement for our young boys thus a good support down in Milford would give them a great boost. The next monthly meeting  will be held in the Clubhouse on Monday May 26th. Our Ladies team have their first outing in the league with a home fixture against near neighbours Termon on Sunday morning, due to the seniors and reserves also playing Termon at home  throw in times for all three matches have yet to be confirmed. The Club Treasurer has asked that any underage managers who have collected money from players to please forward to him as soon as possible.Anyone interested in tickets for the Derry v Donegal game are asked to e mail Sharon at the club can not guarantee that all requests will be met as we don’t know as yet what our allocation will be. The club would like to wish all the boys and girls making their Holy Communion all the best Next Saturday the 10th May at 11.30 am. The County squad will be in Ballybofey next Saturday morning from11.30 for a meet and greet session. This is a great opportunity for our young people to meet and get photos with the County Stars.
