Traffic Info – travel early, avoid the rush and support the Donegal Ladies

A lot of fans of   are expected to travel for the Ulster Senior Football Championship semi-final between Donegal and Tyrone in Kingspan Breffni on Saturday. We would ask supporters attending the game to read the below information before their journey.

Traffic Management:

  • Traffic from South Donegal and West Tyrone is asked to approach Cavan via the Enniskillen/Belturbet route.
  • Traffic from North Donegal and East Tyrone is asked to approach Cavan via the Monaghan/Cootehill route.

Parking:

There will be ample parking in the Cavan town area with over 3,500 car parking spaces available less than a 15-minute walk from Kingspan Breffni.

Access routes to parking will be signposted on approach roads.

Free parking will be available in all county council operated car parks and on the street within Cavan Town from 1.00 pm

N.B Cavan Multi Storey Car Park will close at 9pm after the match.

Bus parking will be available in the town centre and also at the Meadow View Inn on the Dublin Road.

Road Closure:

The A34 Lisnagole Road, Lisnaskea will be closed from its junction with Gola Road, Lisnaskea to Maguiresbridge.

In addition those travelling through Enniskillen should note that there is 10 km mini-marathon starting at the Lakeside Centre at 2.00 pm. Why not travel early, avoid the traffic and cheer on our ladies as they start their campaign to capture the Ulster Senior title for the third year in succession.
