The Reserves were defeated at home by Gweedore last Saturday evening despite good performances from Jimmy McElwaine,
Thomas Cullen, Paul McGettigan, Ricky Gallagher, Nathan McElwaine and Ian Cannon. The experience of Gweedore around the
middle told in the early stages of the second half where Ronan MacNeilis and James Gallagher started exerting their influence,
while the loss of Ricky Gallagher to injury also had an impact on the boys.
This weekend sees the Reserves and Seniors home to Malin on Saturday evening. The Reserve game throws in at 6:00,
with the Seniors set for a 7:30 start. All support would be greatly appreciated as both teams look to get a positive result to get
their seasons up and running. With Malin also struggling so far this season, this is sure to be a close fought encounter
where home advantage will only be an advantage if the supporters come out in numbers.

Well done to our U10 boys and girl who travelled to Downings for their first Blitz of 2014 on Saturday last.
We had 3 teams taking part and all 3 recorded victories and show huge levels of progress. Paddy Mc Menamins team recorded
victories over Downings, MacCumhaills B and St Eunans. The team was Kevin Mallon, Aidan Mc Elroy Brennan, Cormac Gallagher,
Caolan Reid, Rory McGrenra, Oisin Harkin, Ciaran McCormick, Eoghan Quinn, Cian Page, and Stephen Lee Doherty.
Eddie Harkins team had victories over MacCumhaills D and St Eunans B. The team was Patrick McDaid, Oisin Kelly, Aoife Giles,
Alan McCarron, Oran McMenamin, Thomas Cannon, Roisin Sweeney, Darragh Murray, Jack Gallagher, Cian McMenamin,
Oisin Doherty. David Bradys team played two and outscored Downings and MacCumhaills opposition. Davids team
was Frankie Ferry, Eunan Gallagher, Gareth Gallagher, Cormac Brady, Gary Mc Gettigan, Eoghan McElwaine, Jack O’Neill,
Matthew Trearty, Patrick Green, Eileen Pinder. A huge thanks to Bubbles and all in Downings for having everything
running like clockwork. Well done all.
Our U12s maintained their recent good form with two impressive victories over Fanad Gaels in terrible conditions on Monday
evening at The Burn Road. Next up for Paddy Gallagher and James Cassidy’s’ charges is a home game Vs St Eunans this
Monday evening with a 6.30 throw in. Come along and support these two teams that have put on some impressive displays in
Our U14s took on Carndonagh in game 2 of the A Championship on Friday last. Carndonagh, with the help of 3 near 6 footers,
looked like they would out power our boys but in true Termon spirit the game was still in the balance half way through the second half. There were great displays from Eoin Watson, Oisin Cassidy, Ryan McFadden and Bobby McGettigan, who filled in at full back in the absence of Caolan Gallagher. Steve McDaid proved a great target man on the edge of the square, and the overall team performance was very encouraging. A few good goal chances that were not finished to the back of the net proved costly as Carndonagh ran out 8 point winners in the end. Next up it St Eunans on Wednesday and then it will be a Shield Semi-Final in the next week or so.
This Saturday, we host an U8 Blitz with Cloughaneely, Glenfin and Red Hugh the visitors. Parents will be asked to help with
providing refreshments as usual and we will be in contact before then. With this in mind, U6 and U10 coaching will take
place on Friday evening, more details nearer the time.
Remember every child involved in U8s and U10s should have a gumshield and a bottle of water with them to coaching and games.
Thanks to everyone that have registered their children for the 2014 season so far. To date over 200 children
have completed the registration process .You can still register your child and we would ask those not yet registered
to do so ASAP so that all insurance requirements are in place to allow your child to play Gaelic games.
We have set May 31st as the deadline for registering your child for 2014. All children boys and girls from
U6 – U18 must be registered to be eligible to play and to attend coaching. Registration rates are the same as last year
but with a special introductory price for new recruits. Can all Coaches of boys and girls teams from U6 – U18 please
ensure that their players have been registered by Saturday. Anyone seeking any further information can
contact Eddie Harkin on 0866082512 (boys registration), or Therese McCafferty on 087 7617104 (girls registration).
Senior Ladies: This weekend sees our Senior Ladies head to Moycullen in Galway to take part in the All-Ireland comortas peile na gaeltachta 2014. They will take on Claregalway in the Semi-Final on Saturday. If they are victorious they will then compete in the Final on Sunday. With Claregalway being the reigning All-Ireland Intermediate Champions and boasting 5 players on the Galway team who recently won the NFL Division 2 title,
this will not be a walk in the park if the girls hope to retain their All-Ireland title. Good luck to all involved. Minor Ladies: Hard luck to our Minor players Hollie McDaid, Anna Gallagher, Lucy O’Flynn and Shannon McGroddy who
were part of the Donegal Minor panel who were defeated by Armagh by 5 points in the Ulster Final on Sunday.
Can the lotto coordinators for each week please send the results to the PRO for inclusion in the notes by Monday evening at the latest.
They can either be sent by text to 0860858109, or by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
