St. Michael’s Notes

All County League

Both teams are at home to Kilcar on this Sunday the 21st June with the Seniors throwing in at 3pm and the Reserves at 4.30pm. Please note throw in times.

Ulster Semi Final Tickets

Ticket orders for the Donegal v Derry semi final in Clones need to be with Nicola by 5pm on Thursday 18th June at 5pm. Text 086 3084164 or email secretary.stmichaels.donegal@gaa.ie.

Please specify if ticket is adult, under 16’s or OAP.

Club Gear

Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure is now stocking St Michaels club gear in children and adult sizes.

Initials can be embroidered on tops if requested in the shop.

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto €5100 this week

There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last; The numbers drawn were 1,6,8,10,16,18. The Match 5 winners were Stewart McFadden Hornhead and Martin Stevens Cardiff Wales who won €50 each, Martin very generously donated his prize back to the club who greatly appreciate this gesture. This weeks Jackpot be €5100. The Club would like to thank Brian and Margaret Anne Dolan, Molly’s Bar Dunfanaghy, Seamus Sweeney Kildarragh Construction Philadelphia, Shaun Langan Creeslough Pallets and Michael McColgan Dunfanaghy for their continuing sponsorship of the lotto jackpot, it is very much appreciated.

Tickets are on sale in local businesses in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough and at the Bingo Session in Massinass Community Centre Creeslough on Sunday evenings, tickets for the St. Michaels Mini Lotto can now also be purchased on line anywhere at at onlinelotto on facebook .

Drive Home in Style From The Bingo in Creeslough

You could win a car on every game every Sunday night at the Bingo Session in the Massinass Community Centre Creeslough by winning a house on 45 nos or less. A number from 1 to 90 will be drawn out of a draw just prior to the Bingo commencing and if that number comes out in the first five numbers of any game on the night the Car or €10,000 is in play and if that house is claimed on 45 nos or less including the number drawn, then the car is won. The Normal Snowball also in play every night. In addition every House winner will receive a free entry to the weekly lotto, this weeks Jackpot is €5100. There is also a Monthly Draw with the 1st prize of a Television. Tickets for the television are €2 each or 3 for €5, free ticket with every Bingo Book purchased or 2 with a double book. Free draw every night at the Bingo for some great spot prizes, 1 entry with single book, 2 with double book. The single book is €8 and double €12, both books include snowball page. Bingo continues every Sunday evening at 8pm in the Massinass Community Centre. The €150 on the snowball game at the Bingo session on Sunday night last was won by shared by Ann Lafferty Creeslough and Gracie Coll Dunfanaghy. The winner of the Door Prize of was Eileen Ward Magheramena who took a Bingo book and three lotto tickets. This weeks Snowball will be €780.

Lotto Rota

The St. Michael’s Lotto Rota for this week is as follows: 20th June Dunfanaghy Marjorie Rodden and Rose Baird, Creeslough Stephen Doak. Anyone who is unable to carry out this very important job for the club is asked to get a replacement on the night.

Donations

Any donations of tea cup/mugs would be greatly appreciated by St. Michaels, they can be left of at the shop at the b ridge at any training session or match day.

Under 8’s

The Under 8’s had a Blitz in Milford on Saturday last. We and a great turnout with new players joining, a very enjoyable afternoon was had by all.

Training continues on Tuesday’s from 6pm to 7pm at The Bridge with the bus leaving Creeslough at 5.45pm sharp. €3 for the bus, Gumshields essential.

Under 10’s

The under 10’s are scheduled to have a blitz in Red Hughs this Saturday.

Under 12’s

Well done the under 12’s who are back to their winning ways against Downings last Wednesday evening. It shows when playing as a team what can be achieved. Great performances from Tommy Doherty, Odhran McGinley, Jack Roarty, Danny Toye. Training will now run on a Friday evening only from 6pm-7.30pm. Full attendance needed.
