St. Michael’s Notes

All County League

The seniors travelled to Towney on Sunday last to play the home side in a top of the table match in Division 1 of the All County League. Despite missing a number of players the came away with a good draw on a scoreline of Kilcar 0-14 St. Michaels 1-11. The St. Michael’s scorers were: Raymond McLaughlin 0-4, Martin Breslin 1-0, Andrew Kelly 0-3, Lee Carr 0-2 and Chris McElhinney and Michael Langan 0-1 each.

Our reserves played Kilcar in Towney also on Sunday last on a glorious afternoon.
The St.Michaels men opened the scoring with a fine point from Darragh McCarry while referee Niall McGeady whom has a good match kept law in order. It was Darragh McCarry whom had a man of the match performance.

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto €5050 this week

There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last; The numbers drawn were 3,9,10,12,13,18. The Match 5 winners were Shaun Breslin Drimnaraw and Bridie McConnell Ballyconnell Falcarragh who won €50 each. This weeks Jackpot be €5050. Drive Home in Style From The Bingo in Creeslough

You could win a car on every game every Sunday night at the Bingo Session in the Massinass Community Centre Creeslough by winning a house on 45 nos or less. A number from 1 to 90 will be drawn out of a draw just prior to the Bingo commencing and if that number comes out in the first five numbers of any game on the night the Car or €10,000 is in play and if that house is claimed on 45 nos or less including the number drawn, then the car is won. The Normal Snowball also in play every night. In addition every House winner will receive a free entry to the weekly lotto, this weeks Jackpot is €5050. There is also a Monthly Draw with the 1st prize of a Television, this months winner was Demi Lee Breslin 15 Ard Cois Locha Creeslough. Tickets for the television are €2 each or 3 for €5, free ticket with every Bingo Book purchased or 2 with a double book. Lotto Rota

The St. Michael’s Lotto Rota for this week is as follows: 13th June Dunfanaghy Brid Gallagher and Peter Witherow, Creeslough Martin Breslin. Anyone who is unable to carry out this very important job for the club is asked to get a replacement on the night.

GAA Pitch in Creeslough

There will be a meeting re the Pitch in Creeslough on this Friday the 12th June at 8pm in the Portacabin. Anyone interested in future development of the Pitch should attend.

Club Gear

Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure is now stocking St Michaels club gear in children and adult sizes.

Initials can be embroidered on tops if requested in the shop.

Lotto Rota

The St. Michael’s Lotto Rota for this week is as follows: 6th June Dunfanaghy Liam McElhinney and Mickey McFadden, Creeslough Michael Cannon. Anyone who is unable to carry out this very important job for the club is asked to get a replacement on the night.

Donations

Any donations of tea cup/mugs would be greatly appreciated by St. michaels, they can be left of at the shop at the b ridge at any training session or match day.

Under 8’s

Training continues on Tuesday’s from 6pm to 7pm at The Bridge with the bus leaving Creeslough at 5.45pm sharp. €3 for the bus, Gumshields essential.

Under 10’s

The Under 10’s had their home blitz last Saturday June the 6th at the Bridge Dunfanaghy. Teams from St. Michaels, Downings, St Eunans and Convoy took part. Though the weather was unpleasant there was fine displays o football. Thanks to the coaches referees on the day and also to the tea ladies for the refreshments afterwards.

Under 12’s

As we will have games every Wednesday, training will now run on a Friday evening only from 6pm-7.30pm. Full attendance needed.
