Good Luck to the St. Michael’s Players Colm McFadden Christy Toye and Martin McElhinney and the rest of the Donegal Team and Management in their All Ireland Quarter Final in Croke Park on Saturday the 9th August against Ulster Rival Armagh. The Throw in is at 4pm.
The Under 21’s are due to play Four Masters away in Donegal Town on Tuesday 12th August in the Under 21A Championship.
The €150 on the Snowball game at the Bingo session in Dunfanaghy on Sunday night last was won by Margaret Doherty Lower Derryreel. This weeks Jackpot will be €1520.
There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night Sunday last; The Numbers drawn were 1,2,6,10,12,15; the Match 5 winner was Martin McGill Creeslough who won €100. This weeks jackpot will be €6350.
The St. Michael’s Lotto Rota for the next two weeks is as follows: 9th August Dunfanaghy Nicola Ferry and Liam Ferry, Creeslough Caolan McGee and Andrew Kelly. 16th August Dunfanaghy Tommy McGinley and Neil McGinley, Creeslough Michael Cannon and Lorcan McDaid. Anyone who is unable to carry out this very important job for the club is asked to get a replacement on the night.

There is a Key for the Clubhouse in the Dunfanaghy Post Office during weekdays if required but anyone borrowing it must return the key to the Post Office.

Sports Day Thanks
St. Michael’s Minor Board expresses sincere gratitude to all who helped make our sports day the success that is was (despite the weather conditions); the sponsors, those who prepared the field and cut the grass during the week, helpers on the day, everyone who donated raffle-spot prizes, old crockery, bottles, home baking, sandwiches etc and those who helped set up the field before and after the event and of course everyone who came and supported us.

The under 8’training continues at the Bridge on Wednesday evenings from 6.45 until 8pm. Any queries contact Hugh Doyle on 0864472068. It is hoped to have some friendly blitzes before the end of the season.
The under 12’s played at the Creeslough Sports last Sunday for the Gerard McFadden Memorial Cup. The White Team led by Bryan Boyle came out on top in a great match.
The under 13’s played their first match on Wednesday last with Letterkenny Gaels visiting the Bridge, the home side ran out comfortable winners with captain Anthony Browne leading the way.
Next game is scheduled against Macumhails on Monday August 11th. Venue to be confirmed.
