St. Michael’s Notes

Senior Championship

Both teams were at home to neighbours Cloughaneely in their first games of the Donegal senior and reserve championships on Sunday last at the Bridge. The seniors won on a scoreline of St. Michael’s 2-11 Cloughaneely 0-7. The St. Michael’s scorers were: Colm McFadden 1-6, Andrew Kelly 1-1, Christy Toye 0-2, Ciaran Gallagher and Michael McGinley 0-1 each.

The Reserves lost on a scoreline of St. Michael’s 0-9 Cloughaneely 2-6. The St. Michael’s scorers were: Raymond McLaughlin 0-4, Keelan McGee and Stephen Coyle 0-2 each and Brendan Devine 0-1.

Both teams are at home to Four Masters on this Saturday evening with the throw ins at 6pm and 7.30pm in Division 1 of the All County League.

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto €6800 This week

There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 2,4,12,14,15,18. There were 2 Match 5 winners, John Mulligan Ballyboes Falcarragh and Jackie Lagan Ards Creeslough who won €50 each.

This week’s Jackpot will be €6800; Tickets are on sale in local businesses in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough and at the Bingo Session in Massinass Community Centre Creeslough on Sunday evenings, tickets for the St. Michaels Mini Lotto can now also be purchased on line anywhere at at onlinelotto on facebook .

Drive Home in Style From The Bingo in Creeslough

You could win a car on every game every Sunday night at the Bingo Session in the Massinass Community Centre Creeslough by winning a house on 45 nos or less. A number from 1 to 90 will be drawn out of a draw just prior to the Bingo commencing and if that number comes out in the first five numbers of any game on the night the Car or €10,000 is in play and if that house is claimed on 45 nos or less including the number drawn, then the car is won. Last weeks number was 4 and it came out during a game and so the car was in play there. The Normal Snowball also in play every night. In addition every House winner will receive a free entry to the weekly lotto, this weeks Jackpot is €6750. There is also a Monthly Draw with the 1st prize of a Television. Tickets €2 each or 3 for €5, free ticket with every Bingo Book purchased or 2 with a double book. Free draw every night at the Bingo for some great spot prizes, 1 entry with single book, 2 with double book. The single book is €8 and double €12, both books include snowball page. Bingo continues every Sunday evening at 8pm in the Massinass Community Centre. The €150 on the snowball game at the Bingo session on Sunday night last was won by Eileen Boyle Fanmore. The winner of the Door Prize of was Margaret Doherty Derryreel who won a bottle of Vodka. This weeks Snowball will be €720.

Lotto Rota

The St. Michael’s Lotto Rota for this week is as follows: 23rd May Dunfanaghy Liam Paul Ferry and Daniel McLaughin, Creeslough Ollie Rodden. Anyone who is unable to carry out this very important job for the club is asked to get a replacement on the night.

St. Michaels Minor Board

Under 8’s

A home Blitz takes place on this Saturday May 30th at 12noon at the Bridge.

All help with teas, donations of sandwiches and home baking will be greatly appreciated.

Please come along and support your child on the day.

Training continues on Tuesday’s from 6pm to 7pm at The Bridge with the bus leaving Creeslough at 5.45pm sharp. €3 for the bus, Gumshields essential.

Under 10’s

Thanks to Red Hughes for hosting the blitz last Saturday. Well done to all who took part.

Another blitz is scheduled for Saturday June the 6th at the Bridge Dunfanaghy. All help with teas, donations of sandwiches and home baking will be greatly appreciated.

Under 12’s

The under 12’s were away to Gweedore last Wednesday evening and were unfortunate not to win. It was a great defensive display from the team, marcela dolan and Anthony hunter and Leah Kelly put in great displays.

Next week St. Michaels will take on Fanad Gaels, dates to be confirmed.

As we will have games every Wednesday, training will now run on a Friday evening only from 6pm-7.30pm. Full attendance needed.

Under 13’s

The team will play six games with seven teams in the group.

Under 16’s

Training continues as normal at the Bridge.
