Nickey Rackard Championship – Donegal v Mayo Streaming Live at 2.30pm

By Sinéad Breen Donegal PRO Sat 26th Jun

Its just under two hours to throw-in in Donegal’s opening game in the 2021 Nicky Rackard championship. Unlike the football championship this is not a knock-out game with Donegal gaining a second chance to qualify for the semi-finals when they play in Leitrim in two week’s time. The virtual programme contains the details of how the competition proceeds.

The game will be streamed live on the Donegal GAA website and the link can be found on the landing page as can the link to the virtual programme.

The Donegal team in the programme contains few surprises with Niall Cleary coming in for the injured Gerry Gilmore in the only change since their last outing against Mayo in O’Donnell Park on May 23rd. There are some changes to the wider panel with the inclusion of  Lee Henderson, Thomas Hartnett, Odhran McGonigle, John Anthony Chambers and Stephen Doherty.

The starting 15 for Mayo does, however, contain quite a few changes since that unhappy visit to Letterkenny back in May. In particular, they welcome the return of their captain Kieth Higgins while Conor Murray, Oisin Greally, Conor Henry, Brian Hunt, Sean Regan and Sean Kelly are all named as starters.
