After a hard-fought win in terrible conditions, CLG Dhún na nGall hurlers will face Monaghan in O’Donnell Park next Sunday at 2 pm. A last gasp goal at the Louth Centre of Excellence secured a 1-10 to 2-9 victory for the Donegal men and they move into joint second, on four league points, in Roinn 3A alongside Tyrone – who they vanquished in Omagh the week before.
A victory will keep them well in the hunt for promotion. Longford and Armagh remain in pole position, on five points each, having shared the spoils at the weekend.
