Martin McGrath, Brian Roper and Declan Bushell have each been assigned new roles within the Donegal GAA Coaching & Games Development Team. They will now take the lead on three keys areas of our coaching and games development plan.
Martin – Children’s Development Co-ordinator – will be the lead coordinator on Children (Nursery – U11) Games Development Opportunities. This will entail games opportunities at nursery level, Go Games, seasonal camps (e.g. Easter & Halloween) and primary school coaching programme. Martin will also be Hurling Academy Coordinator in 2022.
Brian – Youth Games Development Co-ordinator – will be the Team’s lead on Youth (u13 – U17) Games Development Opportunities within Donegal GAA focusing on club and post primary SuperGames, post primary coaching programme, young whistlers education and club support initiatives for coaches work within youth age grade at club level.
Declan is being appointed Coach Education Co-ordinator. He will be the Team’s lead co-ordinator on coach education/coach development. Declan will take the lead on our coach education course programme at Foundation and Award 1 levels along with coordinating coach education workshops for coach the coach sessions throughout the year.
