CLUB LOTTO

The twentieth Club Lotto draw of the year took place on Monday the 8th of June at the clubhouse. The numbers drawn were 6, 8, 18 and 22. There was no jackpot winner. The runners-up prize of €100 was split between five people who matched two of the numbers drawn. They were: Amy McLoone (Ballindrait), Patsy O’Hagan (Argary), Thomas Whyte (Murlog), Josie Boyle (Guystown) and Tony McGill (Cloughfin).

Next week’s jackpot is €1350.

THE WEEK GONE BY

On Saturday past, our Senior Men recorded their third victory on the bounce with a 3 point victory over namesakes Naomh Padraig Muff. The game finished on a final score of Naomh Padraig Lifford 1:9, Naomh Padraig Muff 0:9; Shane Gallagher’s goal in first half injury time proving the difference between both teams come the final whistle.

THE WEEK AHEAD

U-14 Ladies, U-16 Ladies and Minor Ladies training continues on Monday and Wednesday evenings at our home pitch from 6PM to 7PM. All players are asked to contribute €2 towards the cost of each training session.

Men’s team training continues as normal on Mondays and Thursdays at the Training Pitch in Rossgier. All players are asked to be on the pitch, ready to begin training at 7:20PM sharp on both nights.

Under-14 Boys training continues as normal at our home pitch in Lifford on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 6:30PM. All players are asked to contribute €2 towards the cost of each training session.

Under-6, Under-8 and Under-10 team training continues at our home pitch in Lifford on Friday evenings from 6PM to 7PM. All players are asked to contribute €2 towards the cost of each training session.

Under-12 team training continues as normal at our home pitch in Lifford on Saturday afternoons from 12PM to 1PM. All players are asked to contribute €2 towards the cost of each training session.

On Saturday evening, both Men’s teams are away to Naomh Ultan (Dunkineely) in Round 11 of the All County League. Both games should make for interesting watching as Naomh Ultan’s Senior team currently occupy 1st place in the Division 4 ACL table, while Naomh Ultan Reserves currently sit joint-top of the Division 4 Reserve table with Naomh Padraig Lifford. Throw in for the Senior game is 6:00PM while throw in for the Reserve game is 7:30PM.

CLUB QUIZ: CENTRAL BAR LIFFORD

The second of our Summer Quiz Series takes place this Friday night (June 12th). The venue for this week’s quiz is The Central Bar, Lifford. Cost of entry is €20 per team of 4. Prizes will be available on the night for the winning team.
