Under 14s league

Naomh Muire 2-12 v Naomh Columba 0-07.

The U-14 lads beat a good Naomh Columba side on Fridayevening in a game that was only decided in the final 15 minutes. Naomh Columba led by a point ten minutes into the second half and were playing with a breeze. This was a top of the table clash with both sides having won all their league matches to date.

Naomh Muire got crucial goals and overall their team performance in the final twenty minutes was really impressive. Naomh Muire now top the league and play Naomh Ultan in the league semi final on Monday week. This will be a tough match as last week’s win against Naomh Ultan was hard earned. Naomh Columba go on to play Kilcar and so both sides could yet meet again in a final.
