Naomh Colmcille Club Notes 17/06/2016

Attached and below are the Naomh Colmcille Weekly GAA notes.

The seniors and reserves had no fixtures this weekend.

The U14s lost out at St. Eunans B on Monday evening and concluded their league group fixtures with a defeat at home to Letterkenny Gaels on Friday evening.

Naomh Colmcille U12s hosted Buncrana on Wednesday evening and put in another great performance.

Our U11s took part in the Carryduff tournament on Saturday and put in terrific performances throughout. They reached the semi-final where they were beaten by the narrowest of margins by Clan na Gael Lurgan. Well done to all the players.

Our U8s traveled to a blitz at St. Marys Convoy on Saturday. Well done to all the players.

Naomh Colmcille GAA Club are hosting a Kelloggs GAA Cul Camp from the 6th to the 10th of July for all children aged 6 to 13 years. Camp starts at 10 am to 2.30 pm. Please bring packed lunch and dress for the weather!! Tuck shop provided.

Each child will receive a Jersey,training top and a backpack in county colours. Cost is €55 for the first child and €45 for second child and €40 for each child thereafter. A week of fun games and crack with qualified coaches. Everyone welcome. Contact Sharon on 08709685558.

There are a limited number of season tickets now available for free entry to all adult Donegal club league and championship matches (excluding Naomh Colmcille home games). €30 for the ticket or €50 for the ticket and Donegal club gear. Contact Alison Ferry.

Time is running out to get club registration sorted. If you think you’ll be looking for Donegal tickets for the Championship you’ll need to become a member. Registrations are now open to all senior players (€50), junior players (€10), adult members (€25) and families (€50). Contact Mark Ferry (087 9154559).

Naomh Colmcille CLG’s child welfare officer for 2015 is Breda Friel. If you or child have any issues through out year with coaches or bullying or other child issues please feel free to contact Breda on 0876393503 and she will try and address the issue. Everyone involved in coaching or helping out at underage level needs to have completed the child protection/awareness course. If you have not completed this course previously, please contact Breda ASAP.

The club is again registered for the Sainsbury’s Active Kids scheme. Please leave vouchers down at the clubhouse so they can be sent away.

Congratulations to Dennis Kennedy and Joanne Raine on the occasion of their wedding last Saturday. Best of luck in the future from Naomh Colmcille CLG.

Subscription of €2 per player (up to and including minors) per week for training. Please make sure you bring your full kit (shorts, track bottoms, boots, sports top/hoodie/coat, drink). Remember a mouth guard is needed for training sessions as well as matches.

Naomh Colmcille Weekly Lotto.

This week’s numbers are 8, 24, 3, 13, 1 and the winners (matching 3 numbers) are Paddy McCauly, Micheal O’Donnell and Monica McDaid who win €25 each. Next week’s jackpot is €1100.

Naomh Colmcille CLG are in need of more lotto sellers. The lotto is the bread and butter of our club. If you don’t drive we can set up on a team with a driver. Please contact Breda Friel (0876393503) if anyone is willing to help. Thanks.
