Congratulations to u14 lads who made it through to the Northern board Division 2 final on Friday night after winning a throughly entertaining semi final against Downings on Friday evening. The under 14 Div 2 final has been confirmed for Wednesday at 7.15 in the Centre of excellence in Convoy. Bus will leave Jacks at 5.40 & Patsy’s 5.45 all players to have a gum shield. Please come and show your support.
The senior men got their league campaign back on track on Saturday evening with an excellent home win against Na Rossa. The lads went in at the break trailing by a point and mid way through the second were reduced to 14 men but the 14 men dug deep in the final 10 mins to pull away from the visitors and win on the final scoreline of 1-17 to 3-05. The senior men are at home again this coming weekend when they take on near neighbours Carndonagh on Saturday evening.
The senior ladies continued the winning home wins for the weekend when the defeated the Donegal Gaeltacht champions Glenfin on a scoreline of 1-21 to 4-03. The ladies have managed to go through the league shield with a 100% record well done ladies. This Sunday the all county league gets underway and the ladies entertain Termon at home with a 11am throw in. Please come along and support.
Finally on Sunday evening the club held the finals of the Joe McGeady memorial u-14 Inishowen league finals and in two very entertaining games It was both Steelstown and Muff who came out on top in the B and A finals respectively. Thanks to everyone for the support and who worked behind the scenes to make the evening go so smoothly.
