*Comortas Peile na Gaeltacta*
CLG BnaG 3-12 Termon 1-15 (AET)
Na Galloglaigh advanced to the Semi Finals of the Gaeltacht on Saturday after a hard fought victory over Termon. It needed extra time to divide the teams in what was an end to end battle of a game. The majority of the first half was a tight affair with a lot of tit for tat scoring until with 5 minutes remaining Cathal Mc Gettigan got on the end of a great pass from Pauric Curley to finish beneath the keeper. This left 4 between the sides at the break although Na Galloglaigh also lost Enda McHugh after 20 minutes to a suspected dislocated shoulder, all at the club wish Enda a speedy recovery. In the second half Termon came out all guns blazing to put Na Galloglaigh under severe pressure and wiped out the 4 point lead. Once again the second half proved to be an end to end battle with both sides weathering storms and bouncing back. However in the last 5 minutes of normal time Na Galloglaigh had numerous chances to kill the game off but didn’t take them, and instead the game went to the drama of extra time. Extra time proved to be a game of two halves with Na Galloglaigh well on top in the first and Termon in the second. However two goals from Adam Serrinha and Cathal McGettigan in the space of minute in the first half gave Na Galloglaigh the cushion to defend and they showed great composure to see out the victory in the end. This put the boys through to their first ever Gaeltacht Semi Final in Glenties on the May Bank Holiday weekend where they will take on Ardara.

*Last Man Standing*
And then there were 4. Donegals defeat at the hands of Roscommon at the weekend accounted for 12 of the 20 that were remaining this weekend, with Armagh, Derry, Fermanagh and Mayo also letting a few people down. The four remaining are TJ Evesson, Oisin Barrett, Martin Callan and Ciaran Kelly who all had Cork backed to beat Monaghan. Martin and CIaran have picked Galway for the next game, while TJ has Dublin and Oisin has Derry.
Well done to Ryan Mcmahon and Ronan Docherty who featured for the Donegal U17s in their 0-13 to 0-4 win over Fermanagh at the weekend. Ryan started at corner back and chipped in with a point while Doc came on in the closing stages.
Well done to Shaun Paul Barrett whose Donegal Minors got off to a winning start in their opening Ulster league game at the weekend. SPs men beat Fermanagh by 9 points, 2-11 to 0-8, in Ballyshannon on Saturday.
Well done to Amber Barrett and her Donegal colleagues who made it 5 wins in a row in Division 2. Amber came off the bench to score a point in Donegals 4-11 to 2-7 win over Clare in Ballyshannon.
Our Seniors have been drawn alongside neighbours Fanad Gaels as well as St Nauls and Carndonagh in Group A of the Intermediate Championship. The boys will be at home to Carndonagh and away to Fanad and St Nauls
