Media and other Coverage of @MMurphySports Games This Weekend

By Sinéad Breen Donegal PRO Fri 31st Jul

Donegal welcomes back championship football this weekend. Unfortunately, Coivd-19 related restrictions on spectator numbers mean that a lot of Gaels will not get to see their clubs in action this weekend. To date, six clubs sought permission to have their games streamed on line and as a result the following five games will be available on the website/Facebook page of the home club:

Friday 19.30 Realt na Mara v St Eunans;

Saturday 19.30: Aodh Ruadh v Burt;

Sunday 14.30 Four Masters v Gaoth Dobhair

Sunday 15.00 Buncrana v Malin

Sunday 18.30 Sean MacCumhaill v Ard an Ratha.

Local radio-stations are also broadcasting a range of games, as follows:

Friday 19.30 Realt na Mara v St Eunans – Live Commentary online Ocean FM.ie

Friday 19.30 St Michaels v Glenswilly – Live Commentary on Highland Radio

Saturday 14.30 Naomh Conaill v Milford – Live Commentary on Radio na Gaeltachta and Match Updates on Highland Radio and on RTE 2 Radio Sport

Saturday 16.30 Kilcar v Termon – Live Commentary on Radio na Gaeltachta and Match Updates on both Ocean FM and Highland Radio

Saturday 18.30 Killybegs v Glenfin – Live Commentary on Radio na Gaeltachta

Sunday 14.30 Four Masters v Gaoth Dobhair – Live Commentary on Radio na Gaeltachta and Match Updates on both Ocean FM and Highland Radio

Sunday 16.30 St Nauls v Dungloe – Match Updates on Ocean FM, Highland Radio and Radio na Gaeltachta.

Most clubs will also be tweeting live on the progress of their games and @OfficialDonegal will be re-tweeting half-time and full-time results where possible. Highland Radio, Ocean FM and Radio na Gaeltachta will also provide score and social media updates on their Sports programmes from all Games on Saturday and Sunday as well as post-game match reactions. Other media outlets around the County will also be supplying score updates on social media from all games as well as timely post-match reports and reactions from players and management at a selection of games.

On behalf of CLG Dhún nan Gall I would like to thank all our friends in the media for the excellent coverage they give our games, not only this weekend but throughout the season, something which is particularly important this year. Go raibh maith agaibh go léir.
