By Sinéad Breen Donegal PRO Mon 16th Mar

ULSTER SENIOR LEAGUE

Unfortunately Malin’s match with Ballinderry was cancelled last weekend as the Derry team refused to travel to Malin, very frustrating for the club as the previous week Malin had to travel to county Down and many of our matches in the All County League have many longer journeys. The seniors managed to get a challange match versus Buncrana instead and got a win in preparation for the league which will be starting next Sunday the 22nd against Naomh Conaill from Glenties. Senior match is fixtured for 2.30pm with the reserves at 1.00pm in Connolly Park. All support welcome in what will be another competitive division 1.

MINORS

The Malin minors lost out against Muff on Saturday and now face a tough match against Burt next Saturday at home.

ST PATRICK’S DAY BIG BREAKFAST

Malin ladies are running a Big Breakfast on St. Patrick’s day from 9.30 – 2.00 upstairs in the club house. This is a major fundraiser for our Ladies teams so come along and support the girls. The cost of the breakfast is €5 for adults and €3 for childern so why not come down and get a good breakfast to set you up for the day and help the ladies in the process.

STRICTLY COME DANCING

After huge demand which we are absolutely overwhelmed and delighted about, our Strictly Come Dancing for our underage funds on Easter Sunday night has SOLD OUT. Fantastic community support, thank you to everyone. Can’t wait until 5th April for what will be a brilliant night! You can check out our dancers on facebook with their interviews and see who will be entertaining you on the night.

MINOR HURLING

Danny McCarron has been selected for the Donegal Minor hurling squad. This is the first time ever a Malin club player has been selected for a county hurling team so congratulations to Danny and his family and the club wish him all the best for the coming season.
