Life Glory and Demons – Anthony Molloy Autobiography Launch Later This Week

Thirty years on from Anthony Molloy lifted Sam Maguire for the first time before heading for the hills, the autobiography of Donegal’s All-Ireland winning captain will be launched in the Blue Haven, Kilcar next Friday October 28th.

In a month when CLG Dhún na nGall has looked to the future with the official opening of the Donegal GAA Centre and the announcement of ambitious plans for further development past glories have also been recalled. The 1982 All-Ireland u21 champions celebrated 40 years since their glorious win in Carrick on Shannon earlier this month, while the Donegal Squad which won the County’s first ever Ulster title were celebrated on Senior County final day in Páirc Sheáin MhicCumhaill. Stars from 1982 and 1992 were also honoured at the Donegal Sports Star Awards last week with presentations to Joyce McMullin and Martin McHugh, with Anthony Molloy as special guest.
