Our U-21 lads have been drawn against neighbours Convoy in the B Championship while the Junior B team will be competing in group 1 of their Championship where they will play Muff, Glenswilly and Naomh Ultan.

Congratulations and well done to former Gaels player Mark English on winning silver at the European Championships at the weekend.

There is an Ulster U-8 Hurling Blitz this Sunday 15th March in Letterkenny Community Centre at 11am. All U-8 hurlers are asked to attend.

The St. Patricks day parade takes place next Tuesday and adult volunteers are required to decorate the Gaels lorry. Anyone available is asked to meet at Alcorn’s Garden Centre at 11am. Also needed are adults and children in club colours to join us in the parade. Meet at the Gaels lorry on Pearse Rd @ 2.30pm. Parade starts at 3pm.

Club Members are requested to contact our Club Secretary for more information if they wish to obtain a Club Donegal Membership Card which covers Free Admission to all Adult Club Matches in the County for the 2015 Season and also included an item of Donegal merchandise.

Our girls will resume training at the Aura on Friday evenings from 7.30-8.30pm. This training is suited for girls from U-12 to U-16. Cost €3 per session. New members welcome.

The U-10 & U-12 Camogie girls took part in a blitz on Saturday past in the Aura. Other teams talking part were Carndonagh, Burt, St. Eunans, Four Masters & Na Magha. Well done to all our girls for taking part and special mention to the U-10 girls who came home undefeated. The Club are running Circuit training for girls & lady’s from 12 years and older in Woodland School Hall every Wednesday from 7.30pm – 8.30pm. Price €2 per person. All welcome.

Letterkenny Gaels has welcomed the announcement that Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure will continue the sponsorship support of Team Jerseys for 2015 previously provided by Donegal Sports.
Michael Murphy Sports are currently stocking a range of Gaels Club merchandise including jerseys, training tops, hats & scarfs so go along and get all your Club gear in readiness for the playing season.”

Underage football coaching continues for U-6 (6-6.45pm) & U-8 (6.45-7.30pm) in the hall at Woodlands School & U-10 & U-12 is in the Aura from 7.30-8.30pm. New members welcome.

Indoor Camogie training continues at the Aura on Mondays from 7-8pm for 5th & 6th Class & Secondary school girls while Wednesdays from 6-7pm at the LYIT is for 4th class & younger. Contact 086 8163605 for information. New players welcome.
