Last Sunday morning at the Glebe the first round of the 4 week U-8 mini league took place. All players and teams performed very well and it was great to see so many parents attending the training.

Underage football training for U-6, U-8 & U-10’s continues this Sunday at the Glebe. New members especially welcome. 11am-12noon. There is also a session on Wednesday evenings. Please bring mouth guards and drink.

Last Sunday our U-10 and U-8 hurlers took part in a blitz in Convoy. The U-10’s won 7 and drew 1 game while the U-8′ s played very well and recorded some great victories.

The U-16’s hurlers play Strabane Shamrocks in the League semi-final on Thursday at Pairc na nGael. Throw in 6.30pm. Please come down and support the lads.

Well done to Paddy Page who played for the Donegal U-15 hurlers last weekend in Carrick on Shannon where they were runners up in the All Ireland ‘c’ competition.
Cahir Doherty, Brian Diver, Peader Connaghan and Rory Boyce also were in action at the weekend when they played for the Donegal U-16 hurling team at Cusack Park in Mullingar. The lads reached the ‘b’ final and lost out to a physically stronger Meath team. All 5 acquitted themselves exceptionally well throughout the tournaments.
