Donegal hurlers must now win both their remaining Allianz League Roinn 2B matches if they are to survive in that Division. The 0-15 to 2-14 scoreline in their defeat to Wicklow does not reflect the closeness of much of this game. Goals win games and while the home side probably slightly dominated both possession and scoring opportunities the two Wicklow goals were crucial, securing a just about deserved win for the Wicklow side.
