George reports that this will be of real benefit to all members of the club and especially those working with our juvenile members. He has kindly agreed to give a small talk on the code and this will be held in the clubhouse on Jun 8th at 8pm.

Everyone is welcome to the launch and volunteers are still being sought to lend a hand for various jobs at the event. This is a great event for the club and anyone who can hep out should contact Lee Gildea in advance or on the night.

Use of hall

The hall is in great demand but those looking to book it NEED to check with Paul Lapsley or any members of the hall committee before using it. There have been issues of double bookings and this can easily be avoided with a simply phonecall before it is used.

Gael Force

The Gael Force event are looking for volunteers to give a few hours of their time on the day of the event. This is a paid job and anyone who is looking to volunteer should contact Paul Lapsley who will put you in touch with the organisers. The event is on June 27th next.

U10 Blitz

Th Under 10s had an excellent time at their blitz away to Red Hughs. Many thanks to the organisers for what was a very well organised event.

U12

The U12s traveled to Termon last week to take on our neighbours in the league. Both teams played some really good football and Termon came out on top. Many thanks again to Termon for looking after the lads.

Bingo

Club chairman Peter McConnell has asked anybody training or going to matches on Wednesday nights to park at the back of the car park. This is bingo night and some cars may become blocked in when the owners return because of the crowd at the bingo.
Bingo continues to go well and starts at 9pm each Wednesday night.

Seniors

All done to both the seniors and the reserves who had excellent wins against Gaoth Dobhair in Magheragallon at the weekend. Keep it going now lads.

Health and wellbeing

The club’s health promotion officer, Elaine McFadden, recently attended a seminar on Health and Wellbeing. Elaine reports the conference was a great success and passed on a lot of useful advice and guidelines for club members of all ages. She will forward on links which will be put on the club’s Facebook page in the coming days.
