Glenswilly GAA notes
U6 and U8s training – parents needed!
Training will resume this Thursday, April 16th for the U6 and U8 boys and girls at the pitch. All children asked to bring gum shield, boots, appropriate clothing, water bottle and €1 please.
Last season saw more than 100 children attend at this age group. This season the club is introducing an initiative that works successfully in a number of other clubs. Parents will be required to attend one training session in the year to help with supervision and organisational tasks.
The pitch signs have been coming in at a steady rate but club treasure Bryan Faul said there is room for plenty more. If your company wishes to have a sign on the pitch then contact Brian.
Minors beaten in semi-final
Well-played to the minors who were beaten by St Eunans in the semi-final of the Northern Board League in a hard-fought game at Colaiste Ailigh on Monday night. The lads were eventually beaten 1-15 to 2-5.
Under 12s boys training
Training continues on Monday and Fridays for the Under 12 boys. Players will receive a text message to let them know about times on these nights. Always bring gum shield and water bottle please.
U 16 boys face Buncrana

Bingo continues in the hall each Wednesday night, starting at 9pm. This is a good source of revenue for the club and the organising committee always welcome any help. If you can give a couple of hours on Wednesday night, please contact Paul Lapsley.
The hall is for hire for various functions including parties. Please contact any member of the hall committee for details.
